It starts off slow and you don't really feel like it's going to go far. But it has so many twists. It's also hilarious because of siblings rivalry and poor understanding of English from the aunties. It is worth getting past the first 40 pages because the rest of the book is golden. Pure comedy and back and forth of a murder and a wedding.

It is a very warm cozy mystery. I just didn’t really relate to the characters tho and it was just a little bit strange of how she murdered her date. But if you want to read this book I would recommend it but not my cup of tea

I have to admit I have a hard time giving this even 3 stars. It is a hugely popular book. Oh it did make me laugh, the problem is, it was ridiculous and unbelievable. However, the family and the dynamics keep me reading. A close knit family and what they will do to protect one another is really what this one is about.
A fun, cozy mystery. Meddy is a professional photographer who works for her family’s wedding business. The night before their biggest wedding, Meddy accidentally kills her date. She drives her dead date home, where she lives with her mother. Her mother calls all 3 of her aunts to help. Their idea is to stash the dead body in a cooler in her aunt’s freezer until they get back from the wedding. After the wedding, they plan to bury him. The cooler with the dead body ends up being transported with all the other cake supplies to the wedding hotel. Needless to say, they keep moving the dead body around. This book does remind me a little of the Weekend at Bernie’s movie. It’s silly at times, but a light, fun read.
