How the Dukes Stole Christmas is filled 4 short stories. Out of them all, I don't think I had a particular favorite, but I did enjoy them all. Each character, and romance, was unique to that author and stories flowed quite well throughout the book too.

As for the drama, well, that was predictable. At times, I rolled my eyes a time (or two) based on how ridiculous it all was. Then again, I'm not from that time and I would probably laugh if I was. Then there's the tension between each couple. Oh man, those were good and definitely kept the pages turning (for me).

In the end, I really liked taking a chance on this anthology. It was never on my radar until now and I'm quite surprised by it. Or maybe I'm just falling in like/love with historical romances. Either way, I'm excited for the next one.

It is truly rare that i read, much less love every story in an anthology, even holiday ones, but this book was worth every single second reading and i would read it all over again.

A cute holiday anthology. I think I liked the Sophie Jordan novella best, but they were all fun and a perfect way to end the holiday season.

No clue why I felt like reading Christmas novellas in August, but here we are. Loved that they had the awful shortbread in every novella lmao

"Meet me in Mayfair": soo cute and it contains the magic of Christmas. It's one night but so much happens and it's just so full of possibilities. Reading this felt like watching one of those Christmas romcoms set in New York.

"The Duke of Christmas Present": so so cuuute. I liked this one a lot.

"Heiress Alone": a historical take on Home Alone and it was kinda fun

"Christmas in Central Park": this one was not for me unfortunately. There was just so much unnecessary deceit going on
