How the Dukes Stole Christmas by Sarah MacLean, Joanna Shupe, Sophie Jordan, Tessa Dare

4.0

How the Dukes Stole Christmas is filled 4 short stories. Out of them all, I don't think I had a particular favorite, but I did enjoy them all. Each character, and romance, was unique to that author and stories flowed quite well throughout the book too.

As for the drama, well, that was predictable. At times, I rolled my eyes a time (or two) based on how ridiculous it all was. Then again, I'm not from that time and I would probably laugh if I was. Then there's the tension between each couple. Oh man, those were good and definitely kept the pages turning (for me).

In the end, I really liked taking a chance on this anthology. It was never on my radar until now and I'm quite surprised by it. Or maybe I'm just falling in like/love with historical romances. Either way, I'm excited for the next one.
