This is a horror book about a happy book-loving girl who grows up to be a happy book-loving unmarried and childfree woman! The horror!
Loveliest most beautiful little read that gave me Ghibli and Miss Rumphius vibes. The story and the illustrations blend perfectly together to give you a love letter to bibliophiles everywhere.
She also has two cats, if anyone is interested.

Extra love for promoting book donations.

I read this book as a child, and it's still a favorite today!

If you know me, you know how I feel about my books. That being said, the end of the story brought me to tears because I can't imagine ever giving up all my books. Drop in my name and this could almost be the story of my life! =^_^=

Oh, and Anna really liked this story, too. She kept pointing at the pictures of the books in the book saying "I want to read that one." I couldn't ask for a better niece!

And this is another one that I plan to buy for my own library!

I also loved this book about reading and reading and reading. Sean only read it a few times before he started calling the main character “mama” and I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing….

I only wish I could be as cool and giving as Elizabeth Brown.

Oh to be Elizabeth Brown (Less disconnected, clumsy, and with zero not-like-others tone for sure).
