Do you like naughty but sweet athletes? Do you enjoy filthy talking, ripped and tattooed hotties? Do you happen to like good bedtime stories?

If you answered yes to any of the above, one-click right now! I'll wait. Ok, while you wait for it to load, remember that all the other Play by Play novels are one click away too. I need to go back and click away.

Flynn- the hot, filthy talking tattooed football player rippling with muscle and has a spectacular @ss that you could bounce a quarter off of- the guy I mentioned above...He has a great life. He loves his job. He opened a restaurant. He enjoys himself but he isn't so lucky in love. It seems he only attracts the money grubby or the camera whores. It's getting to be ridiculous especially for a simple guy who would love to settle down and do the family thing. (Hey, Flynn! Just give me time to ditch my hubs...Just kidding honey!)

Amelia, the head ache at Flynn's restaurant, is actually sad to see him constantly striking out in the love department. One conversation later with a roommate's wife and Amelia and Flynn are somehow being setup on dates. But it seems that conversation and sparks aren't happening for the right pair and wine isn't the only thing flowing...

With heat, chemistry, and that zing, what's a girl to do?

Though this wasn't my first Jaci book; it is my first Play by Play book. I am a big sports romance fan, although real life sports hold almost no space in my day. I love when a book isn't inundated with terms only fans can follow but still feels legit. If Rules of Contact is anything to go by, I think I will be scrambling for more of the series. I am especially excited to see if the Cassidy family is in more.

Be careful! Reading this book causes smirking, temperature increases, and shifting of thighs. I do love a good bedtime story.

Work place romance takes a new twist when Tucker and Amelia find themselves putting together more than just great recipes. But can Tucker cross that line with his employee? And does Amelia want to ruin her career being the plaything of the boss? In true Jaci Burton style, the reader gets a glimpse of the athlete off the field and trudging through life without a playbook. Beautifully written characters and a storyline that will have the reader sighing with happiness and laughing out loud with joy this was a great addition to the Play by Play Series.

Flynn may have a successful career on the football field but his passion lives in the kitchen. Starting his own restaurant has always been a dream and with the help of chef Amelia he's able to start his new venture with success. He can't deny that he's attracted to Amelia but convincing her to take a chance is a little harder than winning a game. Amelia may be recently divorced but she moved on emotional a while ago. Getting involved with the boss is not really in her plan but working closely with Flynn shows her that the man behind the helmet is too much of a temptation. But with his career and her plans are they able to find a middle ground and build a relationship that lets them actually spend time together or are they going in two different directions? Another great read in the Play by Play series. If you're looking for a light, fun, sexy contemporary read this series is it!

I liked the main characters, but I always love getting to see the families interact.

The start of this book was a 5 but idk halfway through I lost interest. I would have DNFd it but I own the book so I do like to finish those in their entirety. I can say the ending fell flat for me.

I got so confused when Amelia met the Cassidys for Thanksgiving? Didn’t she cook for Barrett and Harmony as her interview in the previous book?
But they all acted as if they didn’t know each other in this one ... odd?
