Love Alex Kava!

My library finally got "Lost Creed" in Kindle format and of course it didn't disappoint! I'm going to suggest "Desperate Creed" in Kindle format now, I can't wait!

As usual in canine handler books, I was moderately irritated by the training, which is outdated, but at least not compulsive, in this book.

I still enjoy the idea and characters.  Plus, this volume introduces a new serial killer, and what's not to like about that for people who read a lot of murdery books ><  We find out more about Ryder's past and his sister's abduction, which I've been looking forward to for the previous volumes.  Unfortunately, the book ends on an irritating cliffhanger volumes 4 and onward only seem to be available through Amazon.  Sigh.

[4 Stars] I’m so glad I circled back around to this series. Another solid book with a fast-moving plot and good character development, even if there were a lot of unanswered questions by the end of the book but maybe that will pick up in the next one.

fast easy entertaining read. And rescue dogs! In this one Maggie is hunting human traffickers and comes across a clue linking the traffickers to the disappearance of Ryder's sister Brodie 16 yrs ago. Cue Ryder and Grace's arrival to help with the search. Even tho
Spoiler I was fine with Brodie being alive no matter how unrealistic I was confused as to how the timing of it all worked. i mean Brodie disappeared at age 11 and was supposedly with Iris the entire 16 yrs yet Kristal who was killed 4 years ago was also a "Charlotte" replacement so did she have 2 at the same time? Given they were kept at Iris' and not as sex slaves from what I can tell I am not sure how that worked
Spoiler
