I love the characters in this series, but I was a bit disappointed in this book. At least two important events (one that is absolutely essential to the story) took place behind the scenes instead of in front of the reader. A throwaway explanation was given for both, which didn't satisfy me in the least. 'Lost Creed' read more like a screenplay than a fully fleshed out novel. Hopefully, the author will dig a little deeper with the next book.

Really well written

This is a fantastic book and shows in great detail how human trafficking happens every day across the states. This story about Ryders hunt for his missing sister shows how families never give up and what it can do to a family when someone goes missing. As with all her books in this series the dogs are awesome

You can’t go wrong with an Alex Kava novel. Profiler Maggie O’Dell and scent dog handler Ryder Creed work together to hunt down the victims and villains in a human trafficking ring in Nevada. Ryder and his terrier Grace have a personal interest in the search and emotions run high throughout the investigation. It helps to have read the other books in the series but enough is explained about our mains that this could be read as a stand-alone novel.
Enjoyed this page turner and need to read more of Kava’s books. Well done.
