*Read for Queer Blackathon (June 19-21, 2021)*
I picked this book up right after reading the first one. This is probably my favorite (though I haven't read much GN yet) contemporary Graphic Novel and I'm pretty sure this will inspire me to really dive into the world of graphic novels.
This was even better than the first volume. The members of the team are super hilarious and quirky in their own ways. I love how each of the characters have distinct personality/identity and I can't wait to see their friendship grow even more in the coming volumes.

Brilliant! I enjoyed this more than Vol. 1 because you start to get into the meat of the story. More characters are given background and you can form closer-knit bonds :) It's just super wholesome and I wish there was more!

Another cute and relaxing issue. Though this is a perfect example of how the intent matters less than how it is received. What the team was doing to get a new member could be considered totally creepy, or it could be considered cute. It really depends on how the targeted person responds. In this case, it was a good thing, thankfully. Otherwise, this would have been a completely different story!
I absolutely adore the artwork for this series. I hope they stick with it. The colors are different and cheerful, and really make them stand out from the crowd.

Thank god the book just leans hard into a world where being gay is already a thing. I love the character introductions and can't wait to read more. Thank you Carly!

Omg I’m SCREAMING, Liv is so precious, and her crushing on Charlie is the cutest, gayest thing ever. 😭💕
