Very interesting. Highly successful in giving a different lens through which to view moving through the world

very neat! i thought the exploration of the male gaze and blindness and what that means was super interesting. also, learned some insane stats about people who are blind and unemployment and access to education

I enjoyed this book but just lost interest - appreciated his voice, insights into his experiences, hearing about the blind convention and the adaptive technology that started out as blind tech and then went mainstream (ebooks, for one), plus hearing more about Braille.

My ebook was due, so I had to return. I found this book to be slightly repetitive. I highly recommend another book, Have Dog, Will Travel by Stephen Kuusisto.
