I'm more a Marvel girl than DC, but if there is a team up I love even more than Marvel Knights, it's the feisty combination of Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and my favourite, Catwoman. I couldn't resist buying this collection and, and it was exactly the kind of mayhem and fun I expect from this trio.

The artwork is stunning and while not all of the stories hit their mark, most of them did, especially the final one. Each Siren got her own time in the spotlight. The ladies, despite butting heads more often than not, have great chemistry and have each other's backs.

That said, I do have one gripe, aside from the stories that fell a little short. And that is the blatant references to the women's bodies. I know, I know, this is how the characters are supposed to look, and you won't find me denying that it's part of the whole siren aspect, but there were some panels that really irked me. Especially since emphasis on curves was given to every woman under the age of 40, and some panels made Harley look a little too much like a girl rather than a woman.

Believe me, I get the irony considering my favourite character is Catwoman, but... come on, guys. Upskirt sketches, cleavage teases, and proof that none of the hot ladies are wearing panties doesn't exactly sell your product to women who would like to see these complex characters as more than eye candy.

Still, I love this trio too much to stop being interested in their adventures. Hopefully they get more development in the near future.

Oh man, that was so much better than I expected and I had pretty high hopes. Makes me want to read more about Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

I missed comics, so decided to have a break from my usual novels and read one! The writing and art in this is amazing, honestly some of the best I’ve seen in a comic. Plus, I love my girls Harley, Pamela and Selina! It was a fun read

This was the second time I read Gotham City Sirens, and I admit to feeling a slight trepidation that the comic wouldn't be as wonderful as I remembered. I should not have been worried! This series is a modest comic masterpiece. Paul Dini's writing is sharp, his storytelling is compelling and expertly paced, and Guillem March's artwork is stunning, a career highlight. In a way, the fact that this gem was being published while Dan Didio and the rest of the editorial clowns in the DC offices were preparing the next year's anathema The New 52 continuity reboot.

Nothing memorable. A fun team up, a pretty good return to form for Harley (not surprising with Dini at the helm)

I'm actually really glad we picked this up again. I think the first time I read this series was probably in college, and I'd forgotten all of it beyond the ladies teaming up. Nobody writes Harley like Paul (and rightfully so). I'm head over heels for Ivy, and I still love Selina. The artwork veered between gorgeous and skeevy. Can I get a reboot with all-female creators instead of a pack of guys? Nigma was a standout here for me too, although I seem to be in the minority there.

Already planning on N52 Catwoman (bc duh) but adding N52 Birds of Prey to my list. I need my Ivy.
