I always loved these characters individually, so it makes sense that I would want to read this as well. Some moments feel redundant over the 13 issues collected here, especially with Poison Ivy. I enjoyed the final issues in this volume the most, as they focused on Catwoman. If you already love these characters, you will enjoy this collection. If you don't know them, this may not be the collection for you. It seems to assume that you already know them from the first issue, in my opinion. I personally wnjoyed the heck out of this and look forward to reading the other volume.

meh. I just can't do superhero comics. Not even if it's centered on bad ass chicks (just forget how they're drawn, ick). oh well, I tried.

I really like this am a huge Harley Quinn fangirls so anything with her I will pick up it mainly focused on catwoman throughout the books but I still enjoyed it very much love the art style and would definitely read more.

Fun and a bit campy, but I love watching the interactions between the girls. The biggest problem I had is the same I have with comics in general, I'm coming in at the middle and keep feeling like I'm missing some context for the story.

this was so fun. I'ma sucker for Gotham-based heroes and female crimefighting teams and this book delivers in spades
Paul Dini's fast-paced plots worked well for here less. Seeing the sirens go on relatively low-stakes street-level adventures like facing off against Doctor Aesop or Hush. Dni and subsequent writers Tony Bedard and Guillen March do a great job balancing mystery-of-the-week style plots a solid character work. Seeing the girls walk the line between heroics and villainy is compelling and leads to some great character moments. I especially liked seeing moments of Poison Ivy's conflicting villainy and humanity
I will say this first volume builds off of the back of Paul Dini's heart of hush storyline. and while the story provides you with enough context to understand what's going on it does reference those events in detail.
The friendship between the girls is also well rendered. While these three aren't particularly affectionate the stories convey mutual respect and fondness between the three that feel natural and compelling. I also really liked the unexpected friendship the three (well mostly Selina and Harley) have with newly reformed riddled. The pocket of grey hero he four make up is an interesting one to be mined here.
The friendship between our girls was also delightful to read
The art from GGuillen March is [pretty solid throughout. The action is consistently dynamic and the character design, in general, was fantastic. I especially loved Jose Villarrubia's colouring throughout. His work had a matte quality that added a nice texture to the designs. I will say this comic walks the fine line between tastefully depicting its female heroes and shameless cake. while it, for the most part, stays tolerable a handful of the panels in each issue vers a bit too far on the latter
Gotham City Sirens gave me precisely what I needed it to. These fast-paced adventure stories were the perfect blend of compelling plot superhero action and charming characters I can't wait to pick up the next volume in the series
