Humorous, rhyming prose. I imagine my littles would love this for read aloud in the library. Love that I spotted Molly Idle's illustration style even before seeing she illustrated it. :)

Cute book that aims to teach young children not to bite others.

SO funny and a very important lesson. I like how it included not biting yourself as well. A little long for storytime but it could be read in small chunks. The rhyming words flow really well and are quite fun to read aloud.

GREAT for social awareness and learning classroom rules. Hilarious and the kids can guess what is getting asked of them through easy rhymes. A tool for every family with young children

Fun read aloud for preschoolers. They quickly picked up on the refrain of “Biting is for food.” We had fun showing our teeth.

Give Molly Idle her Caldecott proper. These endpages/title page are everything.
This book is GREAT for establishing bodily autonomy and bodily politeness.
