I was so excited to read this one and it was kinda disappointed:( Still good but i like better when the crime happens in a certain place and the accused can’t leave (i.e death on the nile)

Rigtig fin underholdning.

I LOVED the mystery in this one. I truly had no idea who the actual criminal would be (or the reasoning, once that was revealed.)
I 1000% bought into the abused/scared wife act.
Really one of those books where I finished it and then went: how does Christie do it? How does she write a book where really everyone is a suspect, everyone has a motive, and the ending still feels like that much of a twist? It's incredibly impressive.

I do wish there had been at least a couple of likeable characters, but I understand why the characters were the way they were.

That mystery and conclusion, though, completely carry the story. Also, the dog. The dog is great. (And if you need the spoiler: the dog gets a happy ending!)

I wish mrs peabody had a podcast.
