Dumb Witness

Agatha Christie

I wish mrs peabody had a podcast.

This is not the most complicated of Christie's stories, but it's well paced and the ending was wonderfully logical in the way I want mystery novels to be logical. It's not just that the ending makes sense, but that, if I'd looked at the facts the right way, I could have solved the mystery myself.

I will note that this one has several instances of dated language for POC and a lot of prejudice towards foreigners as might be expected for a book from the 1930's.
