Before we gave this book to our daughters I photographed the Roasted Pear Tagine with Figs, Walnuts & Cardamom. recipe. This was a flavour sensation & a great way to use a tagine for desserts!

We have borrowed this book from my daughters & I am hoping to be able to hold on to it for longer than a week, as some of the recipes look really delicious. (Edit; we have had this book for much longer than a week!)

Last night we (heavily) adapted Classic Lamb Tagine. Among other things we used venison steaks instead of lamb & juniper berries instead of coriander seeds! & it was a stove top recipe & I don't own a diffuser, so we sauteed it in a fry pan, then transferred the food to our tagine & finished the cooking in the oven. But, other than that, we totally followed the recipe!
