Great follow up to an excellent book.

I appreciated the scene with Ari’s brother and the way the author wrote about grief following the death of Ari’s dad.

Favorite quote: “It’s time to stop believing everything you think.”

giving up at 60%... this book is unbearable. i knew around the 20% mark that i wouldn’t like it but i was determined to see it through and maybe give it another chance. but nope! this book is quite literally descended from hell and i can’t believe i bothered to waste whatever time on it. the part where aristotle’s father... a war veteran.. starts talking about how all life is precious? get the FUCK out.

Unbelievably beautiful once again. I absolutely adore Ari and Dante with my whole heart and will keep them with me forever ❤️ so beautifully written, Ari is a wonderful narrator and i cried several times. both books will be going up on my favoirites shelf!

4.5 rounded up! 4 stars are not enough for this gorgeous book but its not quite a 5 as i felt it dipped a little in the middle and the lack of dante while ari goes back to school!
