This was disappointing. Maybe I'm not the target market, but I'm not sure who would be persuaded by the majority of the short pieces in this book. The second section on how to resist seemed stronger and more useful.

I was expecting both protest and everyday tips. None of the latter. Much of the same throughout. Interesting and informative, but these pieces of information were few and far between.

All killer, no filler. This is a hard hitting but easy reading little book that should be passed around. You don't need to be thinking of joining ER in order to read this book.
Kate Raworth's chapter was a highlight, but one of the book's strengths is the sheer number of diverse voices discussing different angles of the same problem. The short chapter lengths forces the contributors to distill their biggest ideas down to their essence, meaning there are no wasted words here.
Some reviewers here saying things like they don't like sweeping (scientific) statements being made without references. That's not what this book is about; it's a quick read to inspire. If you need references, go to each of the contributers' further works and I'm sure you'll find what you need.
