In this book, I realized that I hate Sunny's POV and that I like Rayne's much better. But then again I've last read this series two years ago so I might have had different taste since then.

It's just that her mind is so fickle. One moment she's all over Magnus and then the next she's flirting with Jayden. I mean, why can't she just be faithful to Magnus - good god we are talking about MAGNUS over here, how can you cheat on that guy. But then again, if Sunny didn't screw up at the very moment the book started, we wouldn't have this book.

I just hate this development on the series' overall plot. I'm hoping the next book is much better.

In Blood Ties which is book 6 in the Blood Coven Vampire Novel series we see the twins headed to Tokyo where a vampire/slayer war is about to happen. Corbin has banded together the slayers from Night School in the hopes of transforming them into the ultimate weapon against the vampires, and Sunny is conflicted with her feelings toward Jayden a newly turned vampire from Vegas. I love this series and cant get enough. It's a great light read compared to most vampire stories that are out right now.

This series is just so cute and fun! But Sunny is just so annoying. But still a damn good book!

I gave it 3.5 stars

This is the first book in the series that I have read, you definitely miss out on some background and relationship development but over all it was pretty easy to follow along with the plot. Sunny really wants to live a normal life but things keep getting thrown at her to make it clear she will never have one. There is even some background story in the beginning to help catch you up which really did help. A big part of the story is the love triangle that is going on between Sunny, Marcus and Jayden. Sunny is completely and totally conflicted and trying to figure out who she really wants while also helping to stop a war. The story as a whole was an easy read with a few slow points. I felt the way Sunny talks (slang wise) to be a tad bit annoying at some points but overall she was a like-able character as were all the rest of the characters I got to know. I liked how the book ended, it was the end yet the beginning of something else instead of being a big cliffhanger. If you have enjoyed the books in the Blood Coven Vampire series I'm sure you will enjoy the addition, if you have yet to pick one up yet but don't want to start at the beginning you will have no problem jumping in with BLOOD TIES.

This kinda felt like drama was being created to just have drama. Interesting but what the heck is going on? Like seriously I feel like all the rules keep being changed.

So I think I'm going to start with the good points.
The book is quite funny and more than I expected to be!
Also I like the location of Japan and that they are back at England!
So, now the bad points...how annoying Sunny is! I like her sister much more...Bad magnum (oh! XD Magnus! I know lame joke but I can't stop reading Magnum instead of Magnus...Maybe I should eat more ice cream *_*?)

Ok, back to the main points of this review… She is really stupid but ;_; why she says the poor Jareth is stupid while he wants only to save his mate? Surely she is stupid ...no rights to say that! xD ( ok just my opinion not serious criticism)
I hate fairies so much...worst fantasy creature so far...( sorry to all lovers!)
Rainny is quite funny so I hope more to the 7 book! Soon is the end of that nonsense book series!

I can't recommend a buy (I lend the books of a friend) but it's quite funny if you don't have something to read and too much free time. The first book until the 4th is quite funny and not that bad but book 4 is not that good any more than 1 until 3. 5 is the worst book so far of the book series.
The six is quite good, but the story is a bit lame and not that exciting but readable...
The love story between Sunny and J. is a annoying...if I would be Mangum I would ask my common sense if I'm not normal...Let's be honest ...she kisses the other boy and he just is ok with it?
She says she will love this boy forever... (Love...I'm not sure if the author knows what love is but that’s a wrong why to picture love!)
Girls never do that with your boyfriends they just start to be heartbroken and don't trust you anymore or just broke up with you and if you kiss another boy and start to have feelings I can surely say you don't love your current boyfriend anymore you just cling on him, because he was always there!
Really! She doesn't love Mangus like Sunny always says ...if she would she would not be distracted by a stupid shellfish guy who is so immature that he starts to become a vampire...

I criticize the books a lot but I also enjoy reading them...But let’s I Am honest with you if you want to read a good fantasy book series with more than nonsense topics and nonsense dialogs than you should not start reading any book of this series.
