An excellent elementary nonfiction read about giant squids, with gorgeous foldout spreads and fascinating details about the squids and their creepy bodies.

I had no idea there was so much we didn’t know about giant squids! What a captivating book with beautiful/terrifying illustrations.

Vaguely terrifying but also awesome. I can see this one being a big hit with story times and class visits. Complete with a big foldout for the squid's big moment too.

I love the way the text is presented as a poem, but what I love most about it book are the illustrations. There are no frames around the pages, so you feel as if you are really a part of the story.
