I loved this! I definitely think it's a good addition to the canon, though I'm not too familiar with Star Wars novels. Ahsoka continues to be my favorite character in the Star Wars universe and Johnston really did her justice here. The story was so engaging that I couldn't put the book down. It was good to see Ahsoka hold her own as well after leaving all of what she knew. All in all, I was very pleased with this novel and hope that Ahsoka gets another book written with her as the central character.

Solid story, a good addition to the canon that fills in a small bit of post-Clone Wars, pre-Rebels history.

Ok so my ranking is dependent on if this book is cannon or not and from what I’ve seen I think it is which is annoying since there are so many better written legendary books out there I just found a couple discrepancies in this novel and it would have ranked higher if I could have considered them some legend told by someone other than Ashoka anyway I found the plot to have several loose ends and I’m not sure if I really agree with this portrayal of characters I’ve come to really like (which is also why I’m probably being too harsh on this particular novel)

Ahsoka is one of my favourite Star Wars characters so getting to read a book about her was absolutely amazing! I loved the writing and the characterization was beautifully made, it was hard keeping track of most of the characters, but I got the hang of it later on, Definitely one of the best books I have ever read! Also listening to the audio book was amazing since it's narrated by Ashley Eckstein! I 100% recommend listening to it while reading the book!
