It’s interesting, but I struggled with this one. I love the world and magic system, and the main male character, but I just didn’t like the heroine. I kept waiting to decide if I liked her, but I never really did. I still highly recommend the first book in the series! It’s amazing!

This was an overall good time. I stayed up pretty late trying to read as much of this book as possible before I felt too tired to go on.
The chemistry between Chrysantha and Eryx was dynamite. The way the author wrote their enemies to lovers trope felt very organic. I could see clearly when and where things began to take a turn for these two and it was delightful to read.
The ending did feel a bit rushed, but it did have a HEA for all. Glad everything turned out well for both the Stathos sisters.
