I love Deadpool and this collection.... was very... shit. It was shit. In order to kill off all the Marvel characters, their IQs and powers suddenly shrink and they are no match for Deadpool... puhleaze. At least be inventive about it. I probably would have enjoyed this more had the deaths been more thought out and not so quick. I just can't buy that they would all fall like dominoes. They didn't even show the hulks death, just his body. Ugh. For true Deadpool fans only.

Enh.
Better setup and execution than the first one but it just kind of… ends.
I feel like maybe it needed one more issue to come up with an actual ending other than Deadpool walking off into the sunset to do… other stuff I guess?

The various art styles are spot on and the kills are creative albeit a little flimsy. Still holds up as a decent storyline though.

I liked how Deadpool seemed less guilty in this one

This one was better than the first run of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe but it's still far from totally satisfying. This one is a totally new story so don't think of it as a sequel, because you'll be confused as to why so many of the heroes Deadpool killed in the first run are back alive here. The artwork is strong, especially the huge variety of styles that are used to depict Deadpool's various mental states when he's killing heroes while under mind control. That was a solid plot device that makes Deadpool into more of a victim than villain and allows for the artists to be very creative. Each issue felt a little too rushed though and seemed to just jump from slaughter to slaughter with little time to react between. If you enjoy comics that break the fourth wall and critique the medium as a whole, check this one out.
