Fun romp through Egypt, with a bit of backstory about the Druids' purpose.

Even thought this was a really short story, only 80 pages or so, I still enjoyed it. Its set before the first book, so Atticus has just moved to Tempe. I liked how there was the egyptian aspect this time

Loved the look at Atticus before the series start. Really loved Oberon! Glad that the doggy was heavily featured!

Gotta love Atticus and Oberon. This prequel tale was interesting and shows what Atticus's real purpose as a Druid of Gaia is.

Another short novella featuring the Iron Druid. An Egyptian mage comes looking for a grimoire that supposedly contains thirteen recipes for cooking lamb. Mayhem ensues, as usual.

This short story was funny and entertaining. For some reason I prefer the books that take place before Atticus took on Granuaile as an apprentice. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed all of Hearne's books so far, but pre Granuaile books just make me laugh more. As such, no complaints on this one!

audible version - not that great - the dog voice is off-putting. Probably will stick to the written word on this one.,
