It was a good book, but since it was so fast, I didn’t really get attached to the characters and I didn’t feel that the enemies part was fully there. They switched up pretty quickly, I also didn’t think there would be so much miscommunication, which wasn’t the best.

An amusing book with an "enemies" to lovers trope. Lots of back and forth drove me crazy wondering which way the book was going to end up. I never quite felt comfortable enough to believe things would work out, which is perfect.

In saying that though, things almost always coincidentally went the way they should. Almost too perfectly, if that makes sense. I kind of half expected some lines to have me as "y/n" because of the style of writing. Giving me very much fan fiction. WHICH is no problem to me, we love a good fanfic. Was just something I noticed.
Upon realizing this, I did some research on the author(s) and found they started out writing fan fiction before publishing books, so that checks out. Love that for them!

All in all, it was a cute book. The tension was broken up by humorous exchanges which kept the pages turning easily.

I read The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren 2 stars 2 stars wow this was almost unbearable. Ethan he just was not a very good character he was so bland literally like watching paint dry there was no chemistry at all.
