Olive believes to have misfortune following her, so when her twin sister who is always kissed by luck as to skip her honeymoon due to the bridal party getting food poisoning, Olive and her enemy Ethan, who also happen to be the brother of the groom, are the only ones still healthy. As the honeymoon is non-refundable, Olive and Ethan take their siblings' place thinking that they won't have to enjoy each other's company. But when Olive's new boss and Ethan's ex girlfriend find them at the same hotel, all bets are off and they fake being married. What neither of the two expect though is to find out that they are wrong about each other and they have more in common than they think.

I hated high expectations about this title after seeing so many people loving it, but I wasn't hook into the story. I especially didn't like Ethan that much.

Omg cutest interactions I’ve ever seen in a book in a while!! A good happy read!

This book hopped right into the plot very fast which is always nice!

I feel like Ethan was sorta boring and kinda bland because other than Olive thinking he hated her and that he is Dane’s brother I didn’t know anything about him. I feel like we got to hear a lot of olives past and understood her pretty good that he just kind of fell flat for me.

Although, nothing makes me more giddy than characters calling each other names that start with the correct first letter of their name (eg. Ethan became Elvis and Olive became Olivia, Octavia). Many of the interactions between these two we so cute it had me blushing

Olive and Ami are identical twin sisters. On the day of Ami's wedding, the entire party gets food poisoning. Not wanting to waste a honeymoon that she worked very hard to win, Ami sends her sister and her husband's brother, Ethan in their place. There's a problem, though. Olive and Ethan can't stand each other and now they have to pretend to be married for the next ten days. At least they'll be in Hawaii.

This hate to love romance is witty and cute and unputdownable! I actually chuckled and I'm pretty sure that I awwed at one point out loud when I was reading it.

The characters are fun to read and the setting is gorgeous. The dynamic of Ami and Olive's Mexican American family is so endearing. And the banter between Olive and Ethan is very entertaining. The backdrop of Hawaii made the story have such a warm vacation vibe that it is a perfect summer read.

I did find that the tone of the book changed towards the end. It felt less light. Less witty. I didn't expect it to shift so drastically. But, it didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the book.

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for the perfect beach read, likes romance with minimal steam, likes a hate to love trope, and wants a good chuckle. It's a cute one.
