I loved seeing a bit more of Barney. They are a wonderful addition to camp.

HI YES I want to thrust Lumberjanes into every single person's hands because DAMN does it do great things!!

This volume warmed my heart and it made me fall in love with Lumberjanes all over again. I"M SO HAPPY THEY INTRODUCED A NON-BINARY CHARACTER!!!!! Also the introduction of roller derby?? Amazing!!! Super excited to see what they do next with the series!!

ps. The views expressed in this review are my own and do not reflect the views of Indigo Books & Music Inc. or any of its susbidaries.

The worst volume so far by a long shot. The art is at is worse, and it's very messy and ugly. It's pretty stiff and the transitions are terrible. For the first time in the series I can't tell who's talking sometimes. The story is pretty boring, there's little to no character dev or good character moments. The only one who has time to really shine is Mal, but barely. The roller derby even though in concept sounds really fun is boring, and the art doesn't help. There's no real good jokes or mystery and fantasy elements either.

This volume started out really strong. I liked that we were getting a perspective of other campers, and then it abruptly ended in the first chapter. I wish there would have been more to the story than that. The rest of the book was interesting, but again I think lacked overall.

I think this was definitely a step up from the last Volume! I loved the inclusion of Barney and the roller derby storyline.
