Lumberjanes, Vol. 9: On a Roll by Kat Leyh, Shannon Watters

2.0

The worst volume so far by a long shot. The art is at is worse, and it's very messy and ugly. It's pretty stiff and the transitions are terrible. For the first time in the series I can't tell who's talking sometimes. The story is pretty boring, there's little to no character dev or good character moments. The only one who has time to really shine is Mal, but barely. The roller derby even though in concept sounds really fun is boring, and the art doesn't help. There's no real good jokes or mystery and fantasy elements either.
