This book is a perfect companion to the author's blog. It provides great background for many of the continuing sagas of her life that she talks about on a weekly basis.

Oh yeah, and it's exceedingly funny (probably should have led with that).

I only wish the photos were a bit larger/clearer (maybe an artifact of being the paperback version?).

HIGHLY recommended for people with a sense of humor. If you don't have one, you may be a bit confused.

Although Jenny's neurosis makes her sound like she'd be exhausting to live with, the book is just really funny, and so is she.

A bucket of awesome! This book had me laughing and snorting in public. It was a brilliantly funny book and I really loved the photos as well. I hope there are more books from Jenny in the future. Raccoon pants. That's all I have to say.

This just didn't land with me. I really enjoy quirky characters, but it felt like she was trying too hard to be quirky/funny. I laughed out loud once and smiled once throughout the whole book. I had much higher hopes.

To be honest, I'm not even sure how to write a review of a book like this. It is so zany and off the wall that it sort of defies description. I can say that I laughed, long and hard, several times while reading.

I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time! Like, laughing until my stomach & my face hurt. Thank you Jenny Lawson for sharing your stories! I ran to the library the day I finished this and immediately picked up Furiously Happy.

I thought his one was funny and a perfect book to have while I was moving and in hotels for months. Easy to put down and pick up whenever I had time to read. Some parts I found myself laughing out loud.

A couple of chapters were hysterical. The part where she talks about her experience trying acid for the first time had me in stitches. Although the remaining chapters were somewhat entertaining I was disappointed they weren't as funny as the beginning of the book. For that reason I give this book 3 stars.
