I absolutely LOVED this whole series as a kid, and it's fun to nostalgia read them as an adult.

This sequel to the titular Bunnicula was a rather fun romp, the cast of background animals was great, though I do wish we saw more of our favorite vampire bunny. Also, I'm not sure I've ever heard the word hussy in a children's book before. 🤣

No Bunnicula. Very long-winded. Loads of silly dialogue.
The character of Chester is even more obnoxious than the first book and it made reading this quite tedious at times.
Cute puppies and sausage dogs.

An elementary English teacher first introduced me to Bunnicula. I then searched the school library and was excited to find there were more books in the series! Many moons later I still enjoy reading it again from time to time. As an autumn soul who loves all things spooky the nostalgia of an easy childhood favorite is a welcome reprieve. Also the perfect series for Easterween to mark halfway to Halloween!
