I loved this book so much! I enjoyed the fact that we got to see more of the Cullen family.

We also got more insight into what actually happened with James and how his mind worked.

I believe that we got a lot of unanswered questions answered. I would love to see Edwards pov on the other books, but I don't think that will ever happen.

Overall, this was a beautifully written book in my opinion (out of the series of course) I adore Edward which is no secret so yeah I love it!

Also, Edward may have changed the way I see Bella’s character which I wasn't ready for... I think I like her now!

I tried. I tried SO hard. I love Twilight so much!! But, this just was not it for me. Edward was way too boring, he only talked about how he loves Bella, how he hates himself for being a vampire and all that stuff. The only reason why I tried to read this was for more of Jasper, Alice, and Rosalie my favorite characters.

Don't take my word for it. I've always been Team Edward. Yet, if you enjoyed Twilight, give it a chance. <3

Ok so I went on a bit of migraine fueled weekend where I got caught up in a Twilight movie marathon. I was just sick enough that the horribleness was muted and the nostalgia was strong enough to keep me watching. However, I missed the first movie--and I thought, "Maybe I should read the first one.." And then I thought, "wait this is the perfect opportunity to read Midnight Sun."

Sooo, I did. And the verdict is that Edward was telling the truth. All of those times when he would waffle on about how he was a monster and Bella shouldn't love him, I always thought he was a bit melodramatic and putting Bella and his family through considerable trouble because he just can't get over himself. Turns out, Edward is worse than I thought--more of a monster--but also better because he is not only being melodramatic.

In the end, still #TeamJacob. If only Edward could have stayed away!! And if only Bella were not so infatuated. Also Edward is a stalker--but Bella seems to want him to stalk her. Bella is just not a good role model for teen girls.

Hopefully, I never, never read this again and relapse into this silliness.

Two starts. Fully out of nostalgia.

I have to admit I really enjoyed this. I really channeled my middle school fan girl for this read. For all the crap Stephanie Meyers receives, we have to admit she nails descriptions of teenage infatuations.
