This second installment starts where [b:Inside Affair|53341947|Inside Affair (Prime Time, #1)|Ella Frank|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1589207131l/53341947._SY75_.jpg|82012808] stops.

It’s all about hurt comfort, physical and psychological healing, and the burgeoning feelings between Sean and Xander.

Of course, it was quite lovely watching these two undergo various epiphanies, and the lust and emotions further deepen. Sean and Xander’s evolving relationship and smexy exploration is overall smooth sailing, but this ends on a light cliffie with a disappointing contrived conflict that won’t last and really, won’t test their bond.

Regardless, despite that one niggle, this was very sweet and yummy when it solely focused on their intimate development, and I’m looking forward to the conclusion!

After the main plot was carried out in the first book I was curious to see what this book would be about and ive come to the conclusion Im just not so in love or invested in these characters. I dont think ill continue with the last book bc I just dont care enough even though these are quick easy reads. Sean and Xander are cute but not enough to hold my attention and this is a bit of a spin off but as a reader im not even that interested in the familial relationship part either. Like do I care that Xander was with Seans little brother? not really?? But now that lil bro knows hes mad and  that looks like the main driving factor for the last book and im like he will get over it since he already found love with another man. I just dont feel the need to read about it. I like the idea of Xander being an anchorman i think that was really cool and not something i read about often but still the plot and characters seemed to lack some depth when it came to some things and its personally not holding my attention.

I loved the continuation of Sean and Xander's story! It was beautiful and steamy, just the right combo for this budding relationship.

Breaking News picked up right where Inside Affair left off, as this is a continuation of a trilogy. This is a story of healing, both emotionally and physically and it's also a beautiful story of love.

This is Sean Bailey's first relationship with a man and even though he's known Xander his entire life it's just been recently and through this time together that he's even noticed this attraction to Xander. We left them in book one just admitting this attraction to one another before Xander's stalker attacked and stabbed Sean. Now as Sean is left to physically heal from his wounds, Xander has emotional wounds to clear from his mind.

Breaking News has steamy moments, but this story is even more about two men falling in love and really discovering one another emotionally, even though they've known each other their entire lives. I love how their blinders are slowly removed, little by little, as they open their hearts and really get to know one another.

Their next hurdle, now that there is no longer a stalker and that they realize their attraction is not just close proximity, but true want is letting their friends, family, and the public know about their relationship. This may test their new found love more than anything has yet.

I'm looking forward to see how their relationship is put to the test in the final book, Headlines.

You know that cliffhanger had me rushing to this book.
I also want to point out I already finished book 3 as well.

What I loved the most of these two was how amazing Ella did writting there angst, the steam was few scenes here and there i thnk the most important part is that is shows them falling in love, healing each other. Loved it !!

“Thank you for showing me the real you. I had no idea what I was missing.”
“And what was that?”
“Someone truly magnificent.”

Overall, I liked it but I think nothing really important happened. There wasn't much of a plot in this one other than Xander and Sean's relationship development.
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy reading them as a couple and devoured it in a single sitting but there really should've been something other than the romance. Like in the first book, we got the whole stalker mystery to go along with the romance.
It felt like this was recovering from the first book's ending and just setting up the plot for the next book.

And a cliffhanger is supposed to shock you, right ? I predicted that ending while I was half-way in.
I feel like their story could've concluded in a single book and not be dragged across three books.
But I'm still kinda excited to read the last book after that ending and see how their story wraps up because I do love the characters.

“Alexander Thorne was a beautiful man, and by some miracle of fate, he wanted to be mine.”
