‘Twas ok

Witty acerbic and woke, this is a fun dive into SATCs most underrated character. Fun read but overlong and a bit cynical

I was a fan of the authors' instagram page so I am so glad to have finally read this book. A fun read for any SATC fan. Picked it up for the jokes and SATC moments, but also walked away with some real life lessons.

Ok, I didn't quite finish this one. Anyway, I read about half of it pre-pandemic (before the SATC reboot and before I realized that I didn't love the authors via their podcast) and recently tried to come back to it and just couldn't do it. Honestly, even before all of the above, when I was innocent I can't say I loved it. I will say that it's almost like a small coffee table book so I realize it isn't necessarily meant to be read the way I was reading it - straight through like a novel - but I'm finding myself with no desire to return to it and being a bit bored by it.

One of my favorite Insta accounts wrote a book and it is so fun. I love the what you should learn from each chapter and all the fun references back to the show. Time to have a Cosmo and be the best character, at least on your second watch through.

As a proud Miranda since the beginning I found this to be a fun, quick, read meant to uplift absolutely any woman who believes in her own worth and wants some advice on how to pack and work like Cynthia’s character. A “we should all be feminists” for the sex and the city crowd. And its reluctant watchers, too.
