My daughter loved them all! I thought it was just ok - Ramona Quimby is good enough for me!

this was probably the most hilarious series of all of childhood, and is, guess what, still hilarious.

i am probably as funny as i am because of this book. which is to say, endlessly amusing.

we all owe a lot to Barbara Park. (namely, my stellar personality.)

I'm reading this to work with an ESL student at the college where I work.

In the time since my kids read Junie B. Jones, I had forgotten that Junie B. is kind of a big ol' brat.

But the story is funny, and I know kids enjoy it.

Well, now I'm torn. I read these in my 20s and loved them. I still love them, but reading them out loud with my own preschooler was different. Cuz we don't say "stupid," that's why. Or "dumb," or "hate." At least not yet. And so now I better understand the parents whose objections I always shrugged off.

2017 update: Snagged the audiobook collection to listen to in the van and it's going better this time around.

Too sassy for my taste. My kids can read them if they want because I do like the way she works though her feelings but I won’t read anymore aloud.

I think Junie B. Jones is a cute character, and the story is fun. I do have to do some oral editing while reading to my 5 year old. Park uses some words like "stupid" a lot, which I really don't want to become a part of my daughter's vocabulary. Overall, though, my daughter really enjoyed this story, and I enjoyed reading it to her.

I gave this a two-star, it was okay. isn't one I would read again lol.
