I can see why lots of people don't really love these books. But I can also understand why kids LOVE them.
If it's wrong to love a fictional character more than your own kids, I don't want to be right.

I've been feeling nostalgic and this healed me a bit.
3.5⭐️ I loved this book as a kid. My daughter (5.5) loved this book. I understand the writing is meant to be from a kindergartener but it drives me batty. She also says so many words my daughter knows she shouldn’t (and I’m not a prude) that she interrupts me to tell me at least once per chapter.
