Not recommended if you have a little girl who needs frequent reminders about the tone she chooses to speak to people. I thought it would be a fun read since my daughter is also in Kindergarten but the girl in the book is very sassy and it just wasn’t a good fit for my easily influenced, sassy-pants to hear. We finished this one but will be trying to find a different series next.

it’s so nice revisiting childhood favorites! junie b. jones was my #1 book series back in elementary school and now that i’m older, i can see why. i really appreciate the work that went into the books. i don’t know if i want kids but if i end having some, i’ll definitely be reading the books to them.

Any of the Junie B. Jones books are good. I read all of them to my son when he was 6 or 7, but he still loves to hear them (he's now 10.) So does my now 6 year old daughter. My favorite of all of the books is still the Stupid Smelly Bus! I love it when she is in the nurse's office! :)
We grabbed this book on CD a few months ago and I HATED it! It's just the way I DON'T want my kids to talk and act. I know Junie B. Jones is super popular, but there are so many great books out there for kids that model compassionate, imaginative behavior why would I want my kids reading about naughty, sassy, sarcastic kids?!
