Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for my gifted copy. This was a fun book. In the beginning I felt that Tara Smith was dealing with some of the things my daughter and I deal with like anxiety and ADHD. The way she turned into fire every time she got upset is kind of how a lot of people feel when they have a meltdown. Tara is the awkward girl at school and when she finally discovers why she is the way she is she still feels like the awkward girl at the School for Extraterrestrial Girls. In this story I loved how the author brushed up on the topic of being kind to others and not letting your hurt or lack of confidence cause you to hurt others. It teaches you to be mindful of how you react to situations and put yourself in someone else's shoes. How would you feel if someone did that to you type of thing. This story was a little weird but I think that was completely the point and I enjoyed it and all its quirks.

I like story being told here. Tara is not a very likable character in the beginning, by the end she is tolerable. I hope there is a book two and she becomes more comfortable with herself and being an alien.

Thank you to NetGalley for a free review copy of this book!

This was such a fun read! I really enjoyed getting to know Tara and all her friends as they came to terms with their newfound alien powers. I think if you like a high school setting but with an alien twist then you will love this! Can't wait to read volume 2!

This is a cute graphic novel for children. It does deal with a lot of social themes and issues but in a way that is easy to understand and entertaining. As an adult, this was not for me but if I had a child or if my nephew wanted to read a comic I would definitely recommend this comic.

I loved the illustrations, the different types of aliens were fun and imaginative, and I liked looking at the different colors and seeing what I could spot in the background. Overall, a nice comic that any kid should love.

This was so much fun! What an absolute joy of a graphic novel. The story is fun, the characters are endearing, the art is stunning, and the message is wonderful. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for the rest of the series!
