Cosa dire?

A very weird story that reads as a modern day fairy tale. It reads away very fast and when I got used to it, it was great bizarre story. Because of the bizarreness, it is memorable. Charming, but also terrible at the end.

Had to read this for my literature class. It’s an interesting read, especially to discuss with your teacher considering the fact that there are hints of beastiality.

I can see why some people would consider this a book with hints towards feminisme cus of time periods. I do not agree though. The man does go through some change when it comes down to his view of his wife/fox(?!). But with regards to the whole story it’s just not it.

All though I don’t agree with everything it is a nice short novel and I actually enjoyed reading it even though it had its ?!?!!?!,!?!? Moments.

Quick "delayed at the airport and it was already on my Kindle" read. I enjoyed this tale of a man whose wife mysteriously turns into a fox and how it affects him. It was interesting and sparked a lot of questions for me: why does the tale focus on the husband and how he feels rather than the wife? Is it meant to be a commentary on the true nature of women? (The wife, despite being a model of innocence and virtue as a human, quickly reverts to a 'beastly' passionate being as a vixen.) What was the point of the vixen's cubs and the husband's feelings of family and happiness for them-that blood doesn't make a family? And finally, the ending- no spoilers, but (this being fairy tale adjacent) rewards and punishments are handed out in a way that I wasn't expecting. All in all, an interesting, quick read.

Read this as part of the Bloomsbury Group course I'm taking. A really interesting book. Can be interpreted many different ways. But definitely is a book that has more going on than seems at first glance. Not going to say too much more as I already wrote a paper on it.
