La dama que se transformó en zorro by David Garnett

Quick "delayed at the airport and it was already on my Kindle" read. I enjoyed this tale of a man whose wife mysteriously turns into a fox and how it affects him. It was interesting and sparked a lot of questions for me: why does the tale focus on the husband and how he feels rather than the wife? Is it meant to be a commentary on the true nature of women? (The wife, despite being a model of innocence and virtue as a human, quickly reverts to a 'beastly' passionate being as a vixen.) What was the point of the vixen's cubs and the husband's feelings of family and happiness for them-that blood doesn't make a family? And finally, the ending- no spoilers, but (this being fairy tale adjacent) rewards and punishments are handed out in a way that I wasn't expecting. All in all, an interesting, quick read.
