I actually think this book has some interesting information but I find non-fiction harder to get into so might try again later

"The secret to life is to put yourself in the right lighting. For some, it's a Broadway spotlight; for others, a lamplit desk. Use your natural powers -- of persistence, concentration, and insight -- to do work you love and work that matters. Solve problems. make art, think deeply."

I have been meaning to read this book for a long time. While I don’t experience all of the characteristics of an introvert, I do have a lot more than I even realized. But I also appreciated the way that Cain shares insights into extroverts, how to nurture them as well, how to, ultimately, strive for balance.

This book made me feel valid. Like, perhaps, I'm not broken, I simply am what I am and that's okay. It does a beautiful job of shifting perspective to the positive attributes of introversion combatting the negative associations we've developed as a society.
