What Alice Forgot

Oh well.

This was lightweight but also thought-provoking.

I really enjoyed the premise of this book, and I loved Alice. I am knocking one whole star off this review because of the "homework" writings provided by Elisabeth and Frannie. I found them to be incredibly distracting. And while I could see how Elisabeth's ultimately proved useful in the overall framework of the story, I was hard-pressed to find Frannie's useful in furthering the plot in any way whatsoever. That is probably a little harsh but I'm sticking by it for now!

Witty and thought provoking. I listened to the audio book and the narrator was excellent as well.

What Alice Forgot might be the most underrated Liane Moriarty book 🙌 Amnesia erases the last ten years’ worth of Alice’s memories after a fall at the gym. In the days after, she learns that not only has a lot happened in those ten years, but she has also changed significantly in those ten years—and maybe not in a good way. What Alice Forgot delves into marriage, parenting, friendship, fertility, and more. It’s a unique combination of mystery and romance. I adored this story and look forward to more of Liane Moriarty’s backlist books!
