Not as good as "Big little lies", but still a page-turner and impeccably written.

Intriguing, emotion-filled story. I couldn't put it down! Really makes you think about how much people change over the course of a decade. Another great read by Liane Moriarty.
This was a quick read for how many pages it was, and it gave me some interesting things do think about -- marriage, family tensions, the passing of time. I didn't think the sister's journal and grandmother's letter added a lot and found myself looking forward to the main character's narrative.
The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but I liked feeling like I was finding things out about Alice’s life at the same time she was, and it was cool how the main character was as clueless as the reader. Also loved the different perspectives from Elizabeth and Frannies entries!

she does it again! so easily thought provoking, makes you really consider who you want to be and who you’ve become, encourages you to savor every moment, and acknowledges that life just will be the way it will be and there is no predicting how it will all end up. the complexity of the relationships is so refreshing, because they aren’t really all that complex, are they? i saw a dumb tiktok that said “the meaning of life is just to simply enjoy the passage of time” and i think this book encapsulates that beautifully. 10/10 i love it all
Oh well.
