An emotional roller coaster and beautifully written. As a new Mom this book was a reminder to me to remember what’s most important! That small things can add up to the big things, communicate with your spouse and never forget to prioritize your family!

In this book, the author meditates on the evolution of a marriage. As a woman who recently celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary, it was interesting to reflect back on all the past selves my husband and I have been in the course of our marriage. Worth the read, but not my favorite of her books.

This book took me a life time to complete and that’s because the first half is pure torture. I just wanted it to rush on and it was terribly slow. That being said the last half was great. I read it all in one sitting, enraptured needing to know what would happen next.
