Was lucky enough to read this at the beach. What an interesting look at how amnesia can make you forget the worst (and best) parts of your life. Emotional and heartfelt.
Release Date: April 24, 2012
Genre: Women's Fiction
Liane Moriarty has easily become one of my favorite authors as her books are not only intriguing but extremely unique. I also feel like Moriarty has a writing style like no other author out there which draws me into her stories even more. In this one, the story unfolds in a multitude of ways. Different character perspectives are uniquely added into the story so readers are able to gain many different points of view and see the story in more ways than one. It is said that every side has their own story and this comes out wonderfully in What Alice Forgot. I will admit though that the story started a little slow for me. There was one moment that I thought I would DNF the book but I am so glad I read on because it honestly gets better and better as everything progresses. Some points made me laugh, others made me want to cry, and in some I wanted to strangle the characters and scream for them to open their eyes! But it all came together wonderfully in the end.
If you are new to this author or looking for your next book to read than I would definitely recommend reading this one (or any of the authors other books). They are all great stories!!!

I loved this book for so many reasons. easy read. great vacation read. the book taught lessons while being light and humorous. a good life book without the profound tragic drama of typical general fiction books.
Kinda slow but I thought it ended up being an enjoyable book. I had read a lot of dark books in a row so this was a welcomed break from that. I’m always a fan of her writing style and I thought she made Alice a really good character!

It shows I've read this twice aand I can't figure out how to edit that I've just read once. I accidentally clicked on the paperback version and changed to Kindle which I DID read but it still shows I've read twice!
I've read this one and The Husband's Secret by this author. I like this one better than The Husband's Secret, I think. I believe her best is probably Big Little Lies but I made the mistake of watching the series. Should I read the book anyway? Somebody? It just seems it won't have an impact because I really liked the series. I recommend What Alice Forgot because it fascinated me from beginning to end.
