Not my favourite of Moriarty’s work, but a very interesting concept with side stories woven in.
I do think the way Alice behaved towards her sister (before the memory loss) was insensitive when her sister showed her great care as she tried to piece her life back together.
I think everyone in the story needed a shot of young Alice to reassess the state of their lives and I liked how the end gave a ‘it doesn’t always end up how you expected but it’ll always end how it should be’ vibe as the whole way I was teetering on what will Alice choose and I think she chose the harder option but the right option

This was a book club pick I did not expect to like. Not sure why since I enjoyed Little Big Lies so much. Not many book can nail an ending but it was my favorite part! ❤

This book did such a good job of expressing all the difficulties of growing up. How much a person changes with experiences and how you think you know everything when your young just to grow up to realize just how wrong you were. This was a beautiful and relatable story about life, marriage, kids, and family.

I am very unsure how I feel about this book. It was not what I was expecting based off of other books I have read by the author. I was also in a weird mood while reading it. Overall it wasn’t a bad book. It just wasn’t a great good either.

This was heavy on motherhood messaging.
I liked that Alice's temporary memory loss helped her and other characters reflect on their lives md improve towards the better.
