This is just a very cute, wholesome story about an herbivore and a carnivore learning to navigate their relationship in a world that frowns upon goats working in bookstores, given their propensity to eat all things paper.
Be warned, there is some smut, but that almost feels like a given with TOKYOPOP anymore.

A classic grumpy sunshine pairing between Yagi, a bookshop employee goat, and his boss, Ookami, a wolf. Yagi is a goat and therefore, nobody wants to hire him in a bookshop. But Yagi, a big bookworm, wants to work in one. He's hired by a grumpy, bossy wolf, Ookami, who often scolds him for chewing up books and paper. I loved the dynamic between them, as well as the supporting characters, Chita a cheetah, and others.
Thank you, NetGalley and TOKYOPOP, for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I don't know what I expected when I ordered this, but what I got was really cute.
Definitely did not expect it to be rated mature though lol. I thought it was gonna be fully wholesome, but Tokyopop loves the surprises. I mean the sex wasn't intense in the slightest. It was just more than I what I thought it was going to be.
Anyhoo, this was a really sweet and adorable story about a billy goat who just wants to be a bookseller even though he can't stop eating the books and his strict but kind wolf manager. I thought the premise was interesting, that he can taste feelings and intentions in the books and notes, and the couple was cute. It doesn't really go in that deep and the story felt kind of choppy in places, but I liked it for the most part.

This was so adorable, I've found a new comfort read. Reading this caused me to smile, so much. I read it in one sitting. I will be rereading this manga soon. I absolutely loved this little story.
4⭐
Super silly premise with a very cute story. The art is lovely too. There are tropy clichés (especially the sex is a bit underwhelming) but overall this is just so cute.
