Funny premise, yikes age gap, yhaknow the typical manga/anime experience

so cute and the art style was gorgeous!!

Thank you very much to Netgalley for this ARC!!

In this manga we find that the world has been divided in two territories: the carnivores and the herbivores. Our two main characters are Yagi, a goat who from a very young age knew he wanted to be a book seller, and Ookami, a sweet wolf who is the owner of the bookshop Yagi works at (and not so casually finds himself being in love with our cute goat). Yagi has been struggling to find a job in the book world as he often ends up eating the books he has to take care of. However, this boy goat has a special talent as he is able to taste the flavour of the papers he eats. Ookami lets him work in his bookstore and from then on we see their relationship grow as they interact, find about their own childhood background and reveal their most hidden feelings for each other.

This manga was honestly so cute and wholesome, but it felt way too short for me :( I would have liked it to have a bit more of yearning and leave the characters deal with their feelings for a longer time before they confessed. However, I will not deny that it is such a swift and fresh read. It does include two explicit sexual situations, but these are justified and make total sense in the narrative so it didn’t bother me at all. I love myself a story with childoon to strangers to lovers trope and this has given me it :)) Very recommended for a cute and quick mlm romance story!!

It is so cute. I love wholesome shit.
A little sus because of the age gap but still legal.
I bought a physical copy since it was so nice. I also want to eat books to taste them on a deeper level. All the characters are so cute.

This was very cute. I liked the plot surrounding a bookshop and love of reading.

*3.5

This book is cute, but I'm not an avid BL reader so I don't think I'm really the intended audience for it. Yagi, to me, looks too much like a child and it weirds me out a little.

I bought this from my local manga shop so at least I supported a local business, even if I will be passing on the book to someone else.
