This is the cutest manga! I love the concept of separate herbivore/carnivore towns and this little goat who loves to read but can't help but try to eat paper. It's so cute and mildly explicit, but the focus was more on the relationship between the goat and the wolf and I loved it.

very cute designs, all the characters are fun

the story is short and sweet with a very happy goat and quite a grumpy wolf
has a happy ending

I like the concept of a goat/paper eater getting to taste a story on the pages.

(Also reminded that just cause a book has pictures doesn't mean it's for kids! Glad I pre-viewed this one before gifting to a 9yo!)

The story is as adorable as the cover art, which I'm very happy to say matches the inside art.
Yagi-kun is a goat who loves books and dreams of being a bookseller despite goats not being allowed to even enter bookstores and libraries because they tend to eat books more than read them. He gets a chance when he's hired at a bookstore in the carnivore side of town, now he just has to keep from eating the books and making his manager, Ookami-san, mad at him. It's a very sweet story of following your dreams and working hard to get the things you want.

Very happy thanks to NetGalley, TOKYOPOP, and LOVE x LOVE for the delightful early read!

I liked Yagi but this was like reading Zootopia mixed with smut which was just…weird

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read a digital copy of this book in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

This manga is a cute and fluffy romance between a goat named Yagi and a wolf named Ookami who work in a bookshop together. It is both equal parts silly and cute and the illustrations are pleasant.
