This Cosmere novella does successfully make me no longer hate Lift (a Herculean task after her insufferable introduction) but still occasionally struggles to present her in a way that isn't obnoxious. While I think this is a good bridge between Words of Radiance and Oathbringer, I just wish there was more substance to it.

I like Wyndle almost as much as Syl. Slightly more than Pattern even.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous two, but "Darkness" is very interesting.
