the last bit of this ended up being really good, and definitely provides context for stormlight 3 that i’m happy i have before reading. however. lift’s perspective got tiring very quickly. the word “awesomeness” should not be used in a book ever. istg she said it 100+ times. i understand she’s supposed to be like 13 but cmon.

2024 Reread Towards Wind and Truth
RAFOO 17/26

Lift's story within Roshar turns out to be quite entertaining and fun, while also connecting quite interestingly Words of Radiance with Oathbringer.

Having read the novella a second time, now I realize that Arclo mentions that the Sleepless have been monitoring the other new radiants, and uses the terms to describe them that were found on the back cover of The Way of Kings. So does this mean that they're the ones that could be destroyed and saved by one of the new radiants? Or does it involve the whole Roshar? As Wind ans Truth's launch day approaches, I have more questions and more theories on how this arc will end. Now to keep on going with my favorite book ever, Oathbringer.

This book is like a bridge between Words of Radiance and Oathbringer. I found that although Edgedancer is not required reading it does enhance the whole story arch of the series.
