"This time, I'm not leaving anything to chance because we may have been fate, but it's up to us to create our destiny."

I'm so sorry I didn't love this book more. I know it deserves a lot more love but tbh it just didn't get to me like I expected. After loving Ethan's book so much I had high expectations for Hutton's book. However, that's the thing with expectations, sometimes it's hard to meet them.

"You're the fairy-tale ending I wish I could have."

Nevertheless I enjoyed reading this fairy-tale lovestory. Hutton is as selfless as his older brother, and if an Everest brother falls in love he falls fast, deep and endless. And with Ally he found his match. She challenges and completes him at the same time.

"If our relationship is doomed to go up in flames, we might as well be the ones who start the fire."

Ally is a lovely heroine. Her soul is split between her upbringing and what she's supposed to believe and live by and between who she really is and wants to be. Falling in love with Hutton only made the battle between these opposites worse. But he stands by her side and together they fight against those obstacles with ease.

"Hutton Everest is a bright knight in my dark nights."

What I didn't like about the book was that everything seemed to go too smooth. I missed something that was really gripping me. And the end felt rushed to me, I wish there were some more explaining of how things ended up and why.

I don't know what it was that made me feel a little distant towards Ally and Hutton even though they are both very charismatic and lovable. I guess it's just me. So please, if you want to meet both and the blurb intrigues you, don't hold back and give Hutton and Ally a chance.

"The broken pieces of my spirit are collected in his embracing love, and my soul feels right again."

Bad Raputation is a lovely modern fairy-tale where the princess found her prince charming, learning that being bad together only makes the world brighter, more interesting and definitely hot as hell.

I can't help it but every time I see the cover Taylor Swift's song Bad Reputation runs through mind as though it's the theme song for this book. I almost think it is after reading it.

Bad Reputation brings us Hutton Everest at his best. Like his brother Ethan there's a lot on the line. He met the one. He fell for her in a crowded bar. That was the easy part. Nothing after that is easy.

It's not easy but it's sweet and supporting and everything you want in a partner. Hutton is a keeper - in every way....

I can’t get enough of the Everest brothers. Ally and Hutton’s romantic love story was jam packed full of secrets and family obligations. Ally is feisty and determined and Hutton is loyal and loving. They’re the perfect match, but like any good love story you have to fight for what you want most. An entertaining read!

I really enjoyed this story. Will Ally stick to the rules of her country or follow her heart? Lots of obstacles in the way but you will need to read this and find out how things turn out.

So many swoony moments! While this is a stand alone, there are some interconnecting characters from a few other books by this author. The Crow brothers get mentioned, as well as Ethan Everett, so it's really a family affair. :) Meeting in a pub, there was an instant attraction, unfortunately, it was never meant to be more. Being with him will cause her to lose everything. Being without her, he already lost everything. This book is about fighting for love, no matter the consequences. It's also about choosing between happiness and duty. As I mentioned... Hutton is the ideal book boyfriend. His love for this woman is unstoppable. He won't let laws stop him, he definitely won't let her stop him. These characters are perfect for each other, and they are well defined and are virtually perfect. She has many hurdles to overcome in her life, and he has one large hurdle... her parents. While there are some steamy scenes (and those scenes play a big part in those hurdles she has,) this isn't what I would refer to as a 'smut' read...though due to the sexual content it does have, and the language, it is suitable for mature readers. It's well, and beautifully written. It's easy to read as well. So, if you are looking for your next book boyfriend, look no further. Hutton is here. If you are looking for a love story meant for the history books, look no further. ;)

*I received an ARC of this book.

Wonderful

Fantastic read. I always love S. L. Scott, but this one really knocked it out of the park! I hadn't read any books like this before, but now I am sold on them!

I loved this story! It was different storyline. One where she had the obstacles to leap. We still had boy meets girl, and falls in love, but doesn’t know what she’s up against. I loved how Hutton decided he just wanted her, and he didn’t care about all the other trappings. It was good!

This is my first Everest Brothers book by S.L. Scott and I am HOOKED! I was absolutely blown away with Hutton and Ally’s story, from the moment they met to the very end of their journey. Their chemistry pulled me in from the start and I could not put this book down. I’m usually not a fan of a royal romance but this...this I LOVED! Hutton and Ally’s attraction, the obstacles they had to overcome and the love between the two made this a five star read for me!

Oh my gosh!!! THIS BOOK. I was completely enamored with it within the first few pages. I'm not even kidding!!! In fact, I probably highlighted and bookmarked over half of the book. I've been OBSESSED with royal romances lately, so I was ALL for S.L.'s newest. Bad Reputation wasn't like any royal love story that I've EVER read. You will fall head over heels IN LOVE with Hutton Everest. All the other future book boyfriends will have some serious catching up to do!!! I'm REALLY hoping Bennett won't be the odd brother out and we will get his own story as well.

Just the royal romance I wanted!

Going into this story, I wasn’t quite sure what kind of royal romance I would get. I am so happy I decided to pick this one up! It surpassed every thing I thought it could be.

Hutton completely stole my heart. He was determined to fight, no matter the cost, for his girl. Her situation is extremely complicated and I love the fact that it didn’t scare him away. He was swoony, stubborn, and determined to get his happily ever after with his soul mate.

Ally was so much fun. While she might have been born and raised to be queen, she didn’t let that deter her from having fun and fighting for what she feels is right. Her country’s customs are very outdated and she is determined to make some changes. It is not an easy road, especially when she falls for an American.

Watching them fall in love was so much fun. It was fast but very believable. It was so easy to root for them and hope that everything would fall into place for these two. The tension, slow burn, and fighting for each other was perfect in every way.

If you’re looking for your next favorite royal romance, look no further and grab this one up today!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
